Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

The GRF8-01 frequency relay is a high-precision and highly reliable power monitoring device designed specifically for power frequency monitoring and protection. It is also known as a power frequency monitoring relay, power frequency monitoring relay, frequency monitoring relay, or dual-mode frequency adjustable relay. This product integrates intelligent functions and user-friendly operation, and can be widely used in generator sets, power systems, and industrial equipment. The stability of power frequency and the safety of equipment operation provide efficient guarantees for critical power scenarios.

Application of GRF8-01 frequency relay product:
As the frequency guardian of the power system, GRF8-01 performs in the following areas:
1. Generator set monitoring: Real time detection of diesel/gas generator output frequency. When the fluctuation exceeds the set threshold of ± 2%, the protection mechanism is triggered within 0.1 seconds to prevent equipment damage
2. Microgrid system: achieving multi power frequency synchronization and precise phase matching during grid switching in integrated wind solar energy storage systems
3. Industrial production line: provides frequency anomaly warning for precision machining equipment to avoid batch defects caused by power grid fluctuations
4. Ship power system: certified according to EN60945, suitable for humid and salt spray environments at sea, ensuring the stability of power supply for ship auxiliary equipment

Product features of GRF8-01 frequency relay:
1. Dual power monitoring mechanism
GRF8-01 not only monitors the external power frequency in real-time, but also has the continuous monitoring function of its own working power supply. This design effectively avoids monitoring failures caused by abnormal internal power supply of the equipment, improves system reliability from the source, and ensures no blind spots in monitoring.
2. Intelligent frequency switching adaptation
Built in 50Hz/60Hz dual-mode adjustable configuration, can be quickly switched through panel dip switch, perfectly adapting to power grid standards in different regions around the world. Whether it is European industrial equipment or power generation units in the Asia Pacific region, they can be seamlessly compatible and expand equipment application scenarios.
3. Multi state visualization diagnosis
Innovatively adopting LED indicator light system: green, red, combined with strobe coding technology, supporting rapid identification of 21 types of faults. With the design of a transparent observation window, operation and maintenance personnel can intuitively grasp the equipment status from 10 meters away, greatly reducing the time for fault location.
4. Dual mode fault recovery system
Industry mechanical rotary recovery mode selector, providing two strategies: "fault locking" and "automatic reset". Maintain a safe state after a critical system failure in lock mode and wait for manual intervention; Automatic reset mode with adjustable delay restart, especially suitable for unmanned power plants. The knob adopts IP20 protection level and is suitable for high dust and humid environments.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
