Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

The GHK-12 PT isolation switch adopts an integrated spindle structure, which has the advantages of uniform electric field, good synchronization, long service life, maintenance free and easy installation. This product is mainly used in environmentally friendly air insulated ring main unit cabinets as the main component in PT unit cabinets, responsible for functions such as PT main circuit closing, opening, and grounding.
Environmental conditions for use:
1) Environmental temperature: maximum temperature+40 ℃, minimum temperature -15 ℃ (storage and transportation allowed at -30 ℃);
2) Altitude: ≤ 2000 meters;
3) Environmental humidity: Daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%, monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%;
4) Seismic intensity: not exceeding 8 degrees;
5) Location of use: No flammable or explosive hazards, no water vaporization, corrosive gases, or severe vibrations;
For special usage scenarios that differ from normal operating conditions, the product user must agree with the manufacturer. For example, when electrical equipment is installed at an altitude of over 2000 meters, special instructions must be made for the manufacturer to adjust the product during production.

FAQ
Q: Why must eco-cabinets be equipped with dedicated PT isolation switches?
A:
Equipping with dedicated PT isolation switches is a necessary requirement for system safety and compliance, with three core reasons: ① PT maintenance safety: PT is a key measuring component. Without an isolation switch, maintenance must be carried out after the entire system is powered off, which affects the normal operation of the power grid; the isolation switch can independently cut off the PT circuit to realize "local power failure maintenance"; ② Equipment protection: It can avoid abnormal voltage impact on PT during system switching, reduce PT failure rate and extend service life; ③ Compliance requirements: According to GB/T 11022-2020 standard, PT primary circuit must be equipped with isolation switches to ensure the safety of maintenance operations. At the same time, the dedicated type is matched with the eco-cabinet in structure and environmental protection, avoiding mismatches and environmental non-compliance.
Q: What is an eco-cabinet PT isolation switch and what is its core function?
A:
It is a dedicated electrical component installed in SF6-free air-insulated eco-cabinets, matched with PT (potential transformer) to realize on-off and isolation of the PT primary circuit. Its core functions include three key points: ① PT isolation protection: When maintaining or replacing the PT, it can reliably cut off the primary circuit and form a visible insulation gap to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel; ② Circuit switching: It can switch the PT circuit under no-load condition to meet the needs of system debugging and operation; ③ Safety interlocking: It is mechanically interlocked with the cabinet door, grounding switch and PT cabinet to prevent misoperations such as live maintenance of PT and closing with grounding. It is widely used in 10kV/12kV medium-voltage eco-cabinets and fully complies with low-carbon environmental protection policies.

Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
