Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

The isolation circuit breaker switch on VHK-12 environmental protection cabinet adopts a semi sealed structure, which has the advantages of uniform electric field, reliable disconnection, long service life, maintenance free and easy installation. This product is mainly used for isolation unit solutions on environmentally friendly air insulated ring main units. As the main component inside the cabinet, it undertakes the functions of closing and opening the main circuit, and has functions such as closing and opening rated load current and closing and breaking short-circuit current.
Environmental conditions for use:
1) Environmental temperature: maximum temperature+40 ℃, minimum temperature -15 ℃ (storage and transportation allowed at -30 ℃);
2) Altitude: ≤ 2000 meters;
3) Environmental humidity: Daily average relative humidity<95%, monthly average relative humidity<90%;
4) Seismic intensity: not exceeding 8 degrees: 5) Place of use: no flammable or explosive hazards, no water vaporization, corrosive gases, and severe vibration phenomena; For special usage scenarios that differ from normal operating conditions, the product user must agree with the manufacturer. For example, when electrical equipment is installed at an altitude of over 2000 meters, special instructions must be made for the manufacturer to adjust the product during production.

FAQ
Q: What key parameters should be paid attention to when selecting eco-cabinet top-mounted isolation circuit breakers?
A:
Focus on three categories of parameters: system matching, performance indicators and cabinet/PT adaptation: ① System matching parameters: Rated voltage (10kV/12kV), rated current (630A/1250A), rated short-circuit breaking current (≥25kA/31.5kA), which must be consistent with the distribution system and PT parameters; ② Core performance indicators: Insulation level (power frequency withstand voltage ≥42kV), mechanical life (≥10000 operations), electrical life (≥2000 operations), isolation gap (≥125mm for 12kV level); ③ Cabinet/PT adaptation parameters: Installation hole size, transmission rod length, interlock interface type (matching PT isolation switch interlock system), and overall height (adapting to eco-cabinet upper space). For high-altitude (≥1000m) and high-pollution areas, select products with enhanced insulation and anti-corrosion structures.
Q: What is an eco-cabinet top-mounted isolation circuit breaker switch and its core functions?
A:
It is an integrated medium-voltage electrical component installed on the upper part of SF6-free air-insulated eco-cabinets, combining the dual functions of an isolation switch and a circuit breaker. Its core functions include 4 key points: ① Dual protection & isolation: Cut off normal load current and short-circuit fault current, and form a visible insulation gap after opening to ensure maintenance safety; ② Space optimization: Top-mounted installation is close to the main busbar, shortening busbar connection length and reducing power loss, which is compatible with PT (potential transformer) and its dedicated isolation switch layout; ③ Safety interlocking: Realize mechanical interlock with cabinet door, earthing switch and PT isolation switch to avoid misoperations; ④ Environmental compliance: Adopt air insulation without SF6 gas, in line with global low-carbon policies. It is widely used in 10kV/12kV medium-voltage distribution systems.

Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
