Description

GRLE8-01 Earth Leakage Relay Product Highlight:

Comprehensive Residual Current Detection

Type A Compliance: Reliably detects sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents, suitable for modern inverters and rectifier equipment.

Wide Current Range: Covers leakage currents from 30mA to 30A with high accuracy (±5%), ensuring precise protection.

Customizable Protection Settings

10 Adjustable Trip Levels: Offers settings at 30mA, 100mA, 300mA, 500mA, 1A, 3A, 5A, 10A, 20A, and 30A to meet diverse application needs, including main protection, branch protection, or fire monitoring.

9 Adjustable Delay Times: Selectable at 0s, 0.15s, 0.25s, 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 3s, 5s, 7.5s, and 9s, enabling precise coordination with upstream protection to prevent false tripping and ensure power continuity.

30mA Mandatory Zero Delay: When set to the most sensitive 30mA (personal safety protection level), the relay trips instantly without delay, rapidly cutting off power to safeguard lives.

Advanced Monitoring and Indication

Four-Stage LED Warning System: LEDs illuminate steadily when leakage current reaches 25%, 50%, or 75% of the set value, clearly indicating leakage trends; the fourth LED signals trip status.

ZCT Detection: When the residual current transformer (ZCT) encounters an error, LEDs ①②③④ flash continuously.

Robust and Durable Design

Wide Voltage Range: Operates reliably under grid voltage fluctuations of AC 85-265V (50/60Hz).

Flexible Reset Modes: Supports manual and automatic reset (via Y1-C connection) to meet diverse operational needs.

DIN Rail Installation: Compact size (90mm × 36mm × 64mm) for easy installation.

High Durability: Mechanical lifespan of 1×10^7 cycles and electrical lifespan (AC1) of 1×10^5 cycles, ensuring long-term reliable performance.

The GRLE8-01 Earth Leakage Relay combines precision, flexibility, and durability, featuring a wide current range, customizable settings, and an advanced LED indication system to ensure safety and reliability for your electrical systems. This versatile relay is designed for both single-phase and three-phase power systems, making it ideal for applications such as elevators, variable-frequency air conditioners, electric vehicle charging stations, and industrial control systems.

Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
