Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

The GRV8-01/02 series is a single-phase voltage monitoring relay designed specifically for industrial automation control systems. This product adopts true effective value measurement technology, which can accurately monitor the voltage status of the power supply network, achieve overvoltage and undervoltage protection and power switching control of the electrical system,

Widely applicable to various types of cabinets such as high and low voltage distribution and control. The specific common cabinet names are as follows:
1. High voltage central cabinet: As the core cabinet for 3-35kV high voltage distribution
2 High voltage ring main unit: commonly used in urban distribution network, residential power supply and other scenarios
3 Low voltage drawer cabinets: Low voltage drawer cabinets such as GCS, MNS, etc
4. Low voltage comprehensive distribution box: This type of cabinet is widely used in urban and rural areas, factories and other places, integrating functions such as metering and distribution
5 Electrical control cabinets: Industrial equipment such as frequency converters and servo drives are often installed in these cabinets in a centralized manner
6 Motor Control Center Cabinet (MCC Cabinet)
7 Network cabinets: in communication base stations and network cabinets in computer rooms
8Transformer cabinet: During the operation of the transformer inside the cabinet, the iron core and winding will experience losses and heat generation, especially when the load is heavy and the temperature is prone to exceed the standard

GRV8-01/02 series single-phase voltage monitoring type voltage relay product features:
1. High precision true effective value measurement
By using True RMS voltage detection technology, accurate voltage data can still be provided in complex power grid environments with harmonic interference or waveform distortion, with a measurement error of ≤ 1%.
2. Flexible work mode configuration
The panel knob allows for quick setting of protection modes such as overvoltage, undervoltage, and window (combination of overvoltage and undervoltage), without the need for auxiliary tools to adjust parameters and improve operational efficiency.
3. Intuitive status indication system
Equipped with multi-color LED indicator lights, real-time display of relay working status (power supply, alarm, action), voltage abnormality type, and fault type, making it easy for on-site operation and maintenance personnel to quickly diagnose the system status.
4. Compact industrial design
The ultra-thin body width is only 18mm, supporting 35mm standard DIN rail installation, effectively saving control cabinet space; Wide temperature range design (-25 ℃~+55 ℃), suitable for harsh industrial environments.

GRV8-01/02 series single-phase voltage monitoring type voltage relay product features:
1. Key equipment voltage protection
Provide overvoltage/undervoltage graded protection for equipment such as electric motors, compressors, and frequency converters to avoid the risk of equipment damage or shutdown caused by abnormal voltage. Integrated into distribution cabinets and control boxes to achieve active protection of core equipment on production lines.
2. Intelligent power management system
Automatically monitor the voltage status of the main and backup power supplies, trigger relay actions when the main power supply is abnormal, seamlessly switch to the backup power supply, and ensure the continuous operation of critical loads.
Suitable for places with strict requirements for power continuity, such as data centers, medical facilities, and fire protection systems.
3. Energy Management Auxiliary Unit
Cooperate with the energy management system to provide real-time feedback on grid voltage quality data, providing a basis for energy efficiency optimization and fault prediction.

Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
