GL-G aluminum connection tube (through-hole) is a through type crimping connector designed specifically for aluminum core wires and cables. With its full through-hole structure design, it enables unobstructed straight connection of aluminum conductors and is suitable for scenarios such as power distribution, overhead transmission, and new energy power stations. It particularly meets the high requirements for conductor conductivity and connection stability, and is a key component for ensuring current transmission in aluminum materials.
Core structure: Through hole design empowers efficient connections
Different from ordinary enclosed aluminum connecting pipes, the GL-G series' "through-hole" design is its core competitiveness, accurately solving the pain points of aluminum conductor through connection:
Full through inner hole: The pipe body adopts a straight through circular hole structure, and the diameter of the inner hole matches the outer diameter of the compatible aluminum conductor. The aluminum conductor can be fully inserted from both ends of the connecting pipe, forming a seamless conductive path of "conductor connecting pipe conductor", avoiding current transmission loss or local heating caused by pipe obstruction;
Chamfering treatment at both ends: Both ends of the connecting pipe are rounded chamfered (flared) to reduce the frictional resistance when inserting the aluminum conductor, prevent sharp pipe openings from scratching the surface oxide layer or insulation skin of the aluminum conductor, and facilitate quick positioning and threading by construction personnel, thereby improving installation efficiency;
Uniform wall thickness distribution: The pipe body adopts a symmetrical wall thickness design, with an aluminum thickness error of ≤ 0.1mm around the through-hole. During crimping, the pressure can be evenly transmitted to the surface of the aluminum conductor, ensuring tight contact at all connection points and avoiding local crimping problems caused by uneven wall thickness.
