Product Detail

Product Introduction

10kV Normal Pressure Sealed Air-Insulated Switchgear/Ring Main Unit (single circuit) uses clean and dry air as the insulation medium, eliminating the need for SF₆ gas, making it environmentally friendly with low operation and maintenance costs. Adopting a fully sealed structure design, it effectively isolates external dust, moisture and corrosive gases, adapting to installation requirements in various environments. The single-circuit configuration is concise and efficient, featuring reliable short-circuit breaking and overload protection functions, with a flexible and stable operating mechanism that ensures quick opening and closing responses. The cabinet has a compact structure and small footprint, facilitating installation in narrow spaces. It is widely used in incoming line, feeder and ring network connections of 10kV power distribution systems in urban distribution networks, industrial parks, residential communities, etc., providing safe, stable and environmentally friendly operation guarantee for power distribution networks.

Product advantages

  • Normal pressure sealing: No leakage risk, ensuring excellent insulation performance.

  • Air insulation: The gas requires no treatment. Through improved processing techniques, selection of high-grade materials, and optimized electric field design, it meets the demand for miniaturization.

  • Simple operating mechanism: With a simple and stable structure, its mechanical service life can reach 10,000 times.

  • Miniaturization: Its volume is 1/5 that of KYN, equivalent to the volume of conventional pressure-type ones, saving space.

  • Standardized expansion method: Facilitates on-site installation and reduces power outage time.

Characteristics

  • Solid-insulated switchgear: Each phase is encapsulated by epoxy resin casting. Disadvantage: The insulation strength of the insulating material will decrease over time, and once breakdown occurs, it cannot self-repair.

  • Pressure-type switchgear: It can be made small in size. Disadvantage: There is a risk of gas leakage at the connection between the mechanism/instrument and the cabinet, which reduces insulation performance and may cause discharge.

  • KYN28 switchgear: A widely used switchgear in the market. Disadvantages: It is a maintenance-required product that needs regular maintenance, and has a large floor area, with a minimum single-unit floor area of 1.2㎡.

  • HXGN switchgear: Small in size and light in weight. Disadvantage: It is mostly of the load switch type and cannot interrupt short-circuit current.

How does a transformer work?
How does a transformer work?
Transformer Operation PrincipleA transformer is an electrical device that operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction to transfer electrical energy from one circuit to another. It enables the adjustment of voltage levels within an alternating current (AC) system, either stepping up (increasing) or stepping down (decreasing) voltage while maintaining the same frequency.Working Principle:Basic ComponentsA transformer consists of two coils, known as windings—the "primary winding" connect

Constant testing of high-voltage cable lines
Constant testing of high-voltage cable lines
1. Definition of High-Voltage Cable Line Constant TestingHigh-voltage cable line constant testing refers to the systematic measurement, using specialized instruments, of electrical parameters such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, and conductance before a cable line is commissioned or after major maintenance. The aim is to obtain fundamental data characterizing the electromagnetic properties of the cable, serving as a critical testing phase that provides accurate parameter support for powe

Withstand voltage test of high-voltage cables
Withstand voltage test of high-voltage cables
Withstand voltage test is an insulation test, but it is a destructive test that can reveal insulation defects difficult to detect in non-destructive testing. The test cycle for high-voltage cables is three years, and it must be conducted after non-destructive tests. In other words, the withstand voltage test is performed only after all non-destructive tests have been passed. Most high-voltage cables used today are cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables, which can have large cross-sections and cov

Analysis of Abnormal Causes of High-Voltage Cable Grounding Circulation and Typical Cases
I. Introduction to Cable Grounding Loop CurrentCables rated 110 kV and above use a single-core structure. The alternating magnetic field generated by the operating current induces a voltage on the metallic sheath. If the sheath forms a closed circuit through the earth, a grounding loop current will flow on the metallic sheath. Excessive grounding loop current (loop current exceeding 50 A, more than 20% of the load current, or a ratio of maximum-to-minimum phase current greater than 3) not only a
