FAQ
Q: Can HXGN17-12 630A Ring Main Unit be customized for special requirements?
A:

Customization options include: ① Adjusting IP protection level (up to IP54 for harsh environments); ② Adding electric/manual operation mode switching; ③ Matching different accessories for box-type substation integration. Contact our technical team with your specific voltage, current, or environmental needs for tailored solutions.

Q: What are the key differences between HXGN17-12 and HXGN15-12 Ring Main Units?
A:

Both are 12kV switchgears, but HXGN17-12 adopts a single-busbar structure with integrated "five-prevention" interlock, more suitable for frequent operation and terminal power supply. HXGN15-12 uses SF6 composite switches with air insulation, focusing on distribution automation expandability. Choose HXGN17-12 for scenarios requiring compact structure and stable interlocking performance.

Q: What is the main application scenario of HXGN17-12 11KV 630A Ring Main Unit?
A:

It is a fixed metal-enclosed switchgear designed for 3-12kV AC 50/60Hz power systems with rated current ≤630A. Ideal for industrial and mining enterprises, box-type substations, urban power grids, and high-rise building power distribution, it excels in frequent operation scenarios with reliable power control and protection functions.

Impact of DC Bias in Transformers at Renewable Energy Stations Near UHVDC Grounding ElectrodesWhen the grounding electrode of an Ultra-High-Voltage Direct Current (UHVDC) transmission system is located close to a renewable energy power station, the return current flowing through the earth can cause a rise in ground potential around the electrode area. This ground potential rise leads to a shift in the neutral-point potential of nearby power transformers, inducing DC bias (or DC offset) in their
