Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

Description:

  • The electric arc furnace transformer is one of the most representative types of the electric furnace transformer,It is also more frequent and intense than other kinds of transformers that the working short circuit and the harmonic shock are subjected to operation. Therefore, high requirements have been put forward for the electric arc furnace transformer in the design calculation, the structure form, the manufacturing process and the test.

  •  For example, the multi step lap core structure, inclined slot hole free binding structure, and strictly control the cutting burr, and adopts advanced core stacked flip Taiwan, pre stack yoke process measures, and fully guarantee the characteristics of cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel sheet, effectively reduce the no-load loss of the transformer. The low voltage winding impregnation process measures, enhance its stability, transformer suit process, based on the strip adjustment, ensure winding and core and winding and winding "zero tolerance" suit, in order to enhance the mechanical strength of the winding and the ability to withstand short circuit. The body is completed in a completely closed constant temperature and constant pressure cleaning room to meet the cleaning requirements and constant temperature requirements of the 220kV grade products and ensure the cleanliness and dryness of the body. At the same time, the imported kerosene steam phase drying equipment is used to make the cleanliness of the product better. The lower bracket of the lower part of the body and the upper press board all adopt the high mechanical and electrical properties of the electrotechnical laminated board. Steel clamps and pressing steel nails have sufficient strength to choose jacket pulp insulation pressure screw bowl, and reasonable layout of the support block, a stay, the pressure screw position, the winding force relative balance, improve the stability of the body. The body adopts the whole set of constant pressure drying technology to shorten the assembly time of the body. To ensure that the center of each winding is the same, so that all the windings are subjected to uniform force, thus improving the capacity of each winding to withstand short circuit.Besides, the six direction positioning measures are adopted for the body and the oil tank and the box cover to ensure the stability of the transformer in the transportation process, so that the field can be directly positioned, and the structure without suspending core is realized, which provides great convenience for on-site installation.

  •  After the whole transformer assembly is completed, the leakage point is checked through the oil pressure test, and all the leakage points are eliminated before the transformer goes out, so as to ensure that the field will not leak. And the transformer is tested in accordance with the national standard, so that every transformer in the factory is the best.

  •  Our company is the exclusive manufacturer that designs the transformer with 66kV and above electric arc furnace at the same time, and it can be designed as the three side interrupting and direct descending electric arc furnace transformer. The structure of products is the main advantage of electric arc furnace in order to solve the frequent power outages, circuit breaker short life, the operation of electric transformer in a side power case, reduces operation times of high voltage circuit breaker, reduces the operation cost because of the high voltage circuit breaker caused by frequent replacement of expensive, improved steelmaking the production efficiency of the system.

What is an electric arc furnace transformer?

Basic Concepts

  • Electric Arc Furnace: A device that utilizes the high temperature generated by electric arcs to melt metals. It is widely used in industries such as iron and steel, and non-ferrous metal smelting.

  • Electric Arc Furnace Transformer: A transformer specifically designed to supply power to electric arc furnaces. It can provide high current and high voltage and withstand frequent impact loads.

Working Principles

  • Arc Generation: The electric arc furnace generates high temperatures through the arcs between the electrodes and the metal raw materials, causing the metal raw materials to melt.

  • High Current Output: The electric arc furnace transformer provides a high current output to meet the high current requirements of the electric arc furnace.

  • Voltage Regulation Function: The electric arc furnace transformer is usually equipped with a voltage regulation device, which can adjust the output voltage according to the working state of the electric arc furnace to optimize the smelting process.

  • Impact Loads: The electric arc furnace will generate frequent impact loads during the working process, and the electric arc furnace transformer must be able to withstand these impact loads.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
