Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

This 40.5kV grounding switch is designed for high-voltage gas filling cabinets, leveraging SF6 gas insulation to deliver safe, reliable circuit grounding in medium-to-high voltage systems. Its sealed structure ensures robust performance against dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures, while minimizing installation space.

Equipped with multi-level mechanical interlocks, it strictly prevents improper grounding (e.g., live grounding) to protect maintenance personnel and equipment. Ideal for substations, industrial power grids, and renewable energy facilities, it complies with IEC 62271 and GB standards. With a long mechanical lifespan and low maintenance needs, it provides stable grounding protection for high-voltage gas-insulated cabinet systems.

1, grounding switch split: the operator into the grounding switch operation hole, reverseneedle rotation can split gate. At this time, the center of the panel is divided into closing andclosing signs, and ( the lower door plate is locked.

2, the load switch operating hole, clockwise rotation (electric operation press the closingbutton) can be switched on. At this time, the dividing and matching indicator  forms.

Two, power failure
1, load switch split: press the mechanical operation button below the panel (electricoperation press down the gate button) to switch the load switch. At this point, the closingand closing indicator & appears.

2, grounding switch closing: the operator into the grounding switch operating hole.clockwise rotation can be switched on. At this time, the dividing and matching indicatorⓍforms.
Be careful:
1, such as the power supply from the upper end of the switch, the live display switch closedand extinguished, shiny.

2, such as power from the lower end of the switch into, the live display is always brightWhen the power supply, grounding switch and prohibition!lt is suggested that three melting pipes should be replaced at the same time when thedissolving tube is replaced.

FAQ
Q: Can manufacturers provide customized services for 40.5kV SF6 gas cabinet earthing switches?
A:
Yes, professional manufacturers support OEM/ODM customized services to meet personalized needs of parameter matching and cabinet/PT adaptation: ① Parameter customization: Adjust system matching parameters (rated current 630A/1250A) and performance indicators (mechanical life ≥12000 operations) according to system requirements; ② Structural customization: Adjust installation hole size, transmission rod length and interlock interface type according to the 40.5kV SF gas cabinet structure and PT isolation switch model; ③ Material customization: Select 304 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel for structural parts according to the application environment (coastal/high-pollution areas); ④ Certification customization: Provide CE, CB and other international certifications for overseas export projects; ⑤ Matching customization: Provide a set of solutions including earthing switch and PT isolation switch to ensure parameter and structural matching. Customized orders need to provide cabinet drawings, PT parameters and application scenarios.
Q: What is a 40.5kV SF6 gas-insulated cabinet earthing switch and its core functions?
A:
It is a dedicated high-voltage electrical component installed in 40.5kV SF6 gas-insulated cabinets, mainly used to ground the high-voltage circuit of the cabinet to ensure operation and maintenance safety. Its core functions include 3 key points: ① Safety grounding: When the cabinet is overhauled or faulty, it reliably grounds the live parts to release residual voltage and prevent electric shock accidents; ② Short-circuit protection: Cooperate with the system to form a short-circuit loop, triggering the circuit breaker to trip and cutting off the fault source; ③ Interlock protection: Realize mechanical interlock with the cabinet door, isolation switch and PT (potential transformer) isolation switch to avoid misoperations such as closing with grounding or live grounding. It is widely used in 40.5kV high-voltage distribution systems, with stable performance relying on SF6 gas insulation.

Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
