Description

Product Description

YJV cable is the most commonly used type of power cable, and even now many people talk about cables and generally refer to YJV cables. As the backbone cable in power transmission, YJV cable is like an arterial blood vessel in a human blood vessel or a tree trunk, which shows its important position in power transmission. YJV cables are generally commonly found in urban underground passages (manhole covers underground) or buried underground, and often the construction team digs up the power cable during construction, resulting in a large-scale power outage accident, which is the power cable. Here are some brief introductions to YJV power cables:

Full product name
copper core (aluminum core) cross-linked polyethylene insulated polyvinyl chloride sheathed power cable;

Product structure
YJV cable components from the inside to the outside are conductors, polyethylene insulators, fillers (nylon, PVC composites, etc.), PVC outer sheath,
Among them, the conductors are mostly copper cores, at present, copper conductors are the most widely used conductor materials on the market, aluminum conductors are less used due to poor conductivity and lack of standards; The filling is mostly nylon and other materials, which play a role in protecting the wire core, which is equivalent to putting on a "dress" for the cable core; If it is an armored power cable, a layer of steel belt armor will be added between the filling and the sheath, the purpose is that the cable is buried in the ground to play a role in anti-compression, and the steel belt armored YJV cable model is YJV22; PVC sheathing is our common PVC material.
Product implementation standards
GB/T12706.1-2008, IEC60502-1-1997 standards
Conductor material
copper material and aluminum alloy material, of which, the aluminum core cable model code is YJLV;
Rated voltage
YJV cables are generally divided into four types: ultra-high voltage, high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage cables, and the most commonly used is low-voltage power cables, high voltage and ultra-high voltage are generally used for long-distance and ultra-long-distance power transmission, medium and low voltage power cables (35 kilovolts and below).
Temperature
The maximum long-term allowable working temperature of the cable conductor is 70°C, when the cable conductor is short-circuited (the maximum duration does not exceed 5S), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor does not exceed 160°C, and the ambient temperature when laying the cable should not be lower than 0°C.
Uses
power distribution engineering power cables, power transmission engineering wires and cables, electromechanical and hydropower installation engineering cables, power transmission cables, power supply installation system control systems, etc
Installation precautions
The minimum bending radius is not less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable when laying the cable, and the YJV/YJLV cable is laid indoors, in the channel and pipe, or can be buried in loose soil, and cannot withstand the action of external forces. YJV22/YJLV22 cables are laid underground and can withstand mechanical external forces, but they cannot withstand large tensile forces. Special tools should be used for cable laying, such as pay-off frames, guide rollers, etc., to prevent mechanical damage during the laying process and stay away from heat sources. When the cable is laid through the pipe, the inner diameter of the pipe is not less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the point, and the cable is prohibited from being squeezed when the cable is threaded, and the total area of the cable does not exceed 40% of the total area in the pipe.
YJV cable product classification: ordinary type, flame retardant type, fireproof type, low smoke halogen-free type
Specification model
YJV cable can be single, or multiple conductors together, the number of cores of YJV cable is single core, 2 core, 3 core, 4 core, 5 core, 3+1 core, 3+2 core, 4+1 core, etc., of which 3+1 core, 3+2 core, 4+1 core is composed of two conductors with different roles, one is called phase wire, the other is called ground wire, is specially grounded. Commonly used specifications include 1mm², 1.5mm², 2.5mm², 4mm², 6mm², 10mm², 16mm², 25mm², 35mm², 50mm², 70mm², 95mm², 120mm², 150mm², 185mm², 240mm², 300mm², etc., such as YJV3*185+2*95 cable is composed of 3 185mm² phase wires and 2 95mm² ground wires.

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
