Product Detail

Product Overview

JSZV16-24R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor for measuring current, electric energy and protective relaying in single-phase or three-phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipement 12kV.

The product has the feature of high reliability, low magnetism of core, large creepage distance of external insulation and maintenance free etc.

Key Features

  • Integrated Overvoltage Protection with Fuse:The JSZV16 - 24R Voltage Transformer comes with an integrated fuse. This fuse is designed to offer reliable overvoltage protection. In case of abnormal voltage surges in the 24kV power system, it quickly cuts off the circuit, safeguarding the transformer and other connected electrical equipment from potential damage due to excessive voltage. This not only enhances the safety of the power system but also extends the lifespan of the voltage transformer.
  • Precise Voltage Measurement:Engineered with high - precision components and advanced design, the JSZV16 - 24R can accurately convert the 24kV high - voltage in the primary side to low - voltage signals in the secondary side. The error is strictly controlled within a narrow range. Whether it is for power metering, voltage monitoring, or providing signals for relay protection devices, it ensures that the measured voltage values are highly accurate, enabling stable and efficient operation of the power system.
  • Compact and Space - saving Structure:Featuring a compact structure, this voltage transformer takes up minimal space. Its design is optimized for installation in various settings, especially in switch cabinets and substations where space might be limited. Despite its small size, it doesn't compromise on performance. The compactness also makes transportation and installation more convenient, reducing both the installation space requirements and the associated costs.

Main technical parameter

  • Highest voltage for equipment: 12kV
  • Rated primary voltage: 11kV
  • Rated secondary voltage: 100/220V or 110/220V or 100V or 110V.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

Analysis of Partial Discharge Principle (1)Under the action of an electric field, in an insulation system, discharge occurs only in some regions and does not penetrate between the conductors with the applied voltage. This phenomenon is called partial discharge. If partial discharge occurs near a conductor surrounded by gas, it can also be called corona.Partial discharge can occur not only at the edge of a conductor but also on the surface or inside an insulator. The discharge occurring on the su

What are the differences between HVAC and HVDC?
What are the differences between HVAC and HVDC?
Difference Between HVAC and HVDCElectricity generated in power plants is transmitted over long distances to electrical substations, which then distribute it to consumers. The voltage used for long-distance power transmission is extremely high, and we will explore the reasons for this high voltage later. Additionally, the transmitted power can be in either alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) form. Therefore, power can be transmitted using either HVAC (High Voltage Alternating Current)

What are the Advantages of HVDC over HVAC?
What are the Advantages of HVDC over HVAC?Electricity travels long distances before reaching consumers. Power plants, often remote, supply electricity through hundreds of miles and multiple substations. High-voltage transmission reduces line losses, with both AC and DC used. Though AC is familiar via utility poles and home outlets, HVDC offers unique advantages in power transmission. The goal of power transmission is to minimize losses and costs. While both face influencing factors, HVDC has more
