Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

The 220kV CT126-1 SF6 circuit breaker, as a key switchgear for regional power grids, has a dedicated spring operated mechanism with the core advantages of "high energy storage capacity, fast response speed, and strong high-voltage adaptability". Through customized mechanical structure and control logic, it accurately drives the circuit breaker to complete the opening and closing actions, adapting to 220kV substations, cross regional transmission lines, and large energy base high-voltage distribution systems, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the high-voltage power grid.
Anti impact mechanical architecture
Reinforced cast steel bracket: The mechanism bracket is made of ZG310-570 cast steel material, with a thickness of 30mm and a tensile strength of ≥ 570MPa. It can withstand the instantaneous impact force during opening and closing (maximum impact force ≤ 120kN), avoiding bracket deformation; Double reinforcement ribs (width 20mm) are added to key areas to improve bending resistance by 50%.
High precision transmission components: The transmission connecting rod and the main shaft of the circuit breaker are connected by splines (with a matching accuracy of H6/h5), with a transmission clearance of ≤ 0.05mm. The shaft sleeve is made of tin bronze ZCuSn10Pb1 material, with a hardness of HB ≥ 90 and excellent wear resistance. After long-term operation, the transmission efficiency remains ≥ 96%, avoiding transmission losses that may cause a decrease in opening and closing speed.
2. High voltage insulation and protection
Multi layer insulation isolation: Epoxy resin insulation partitions (thickness 8mm, breakdown voltage ≥ 40kV) are installed between the internal electrical components (opening and closing coils, auxiliary switches) and metal parts of the mechanism. The coil leads are made of silicone rubber insulated cables (temperature resistance -40 ℃~+150 ℃) to avoid interference from 220kV high-voltage electric fields; Install IP2X insulation cover on the wiring terminal to prevent accidental electric shock.
IP65 rated protective shell: The shell is made of 304 stainless steel material (thickness 3mm), which has been brushed and passivated, and has a salt spray corrosion resistance of up to 1200 hours; Double fluororubber sealing rings (section size φ 10mm) are used at the joints, with waterproof grade of IP65, which can withstand outdoor rainstorm (rainfall ≤ 120mm/h) and sand dust (dust concentration ≤ 15mg/m ³); A one-way valve drainage hole is installed at the bottom to prevent rainwater from flowing back, suitable for outdoor substations and tower scenes.
3. Multiple safety interlocks
To avoid the risk of misoperation in high-voltage scenarios, the institution integrates triple interlocking:
Energy storage closing interlock: The closing circuit is only connected when the mechanism completes energy storage (triggered by the travel switch) to prevent failure of closing without energy storage;
Opening closing interlock: When the opening is not in place (the opening position switch is not triggered), the closing operation is locked to avoid closing with load;
Grounding operation interlock: When the circuit breaker grounding switch is not closed, the opening and closing circuit is disconnected to ensure the safety of operation and maintenance personnel.

    Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
