A new type of cable joint product
CMJ (Cable Melt Joint) is a technology independently developed by the company, which applies the new generation of power cable connection technology. The product has a different structural form from ordinary cold shrink, heat shrink, and prefabricated cable joints, and is a new type of cable joint product.
Strong current carrying capacity
The conductor adopts exothermic welding technology, with equal diameter, low resistance, high strength, and welding points that never age. It can withstand fault current surges and long-term high current operation, providing a durable and reliable electrical connection.
Reliable control of electric field stress
The fusion joint is made by restoring the cable conductor shielding layer and insulation shielding layer according to the original cable's conductor shielding and outer shielding structure, specifications, and the same materials, to achieve a continuous and equivalent matching cable electric field shielding body between CMJ and the original cable, so that the electric field distribution and strength are in the best natural state, highlighting the electrical stability and operational reliability of CMJ.
Good insulation performance
By using XLPE without air gap interface fusion bonding, which is the same as the cable insulation, a structure is formed that is consistent with the cable without obvious joint characteristics. The insulation strength is consistent with the original cable, and it has higher electrical insulation and stable durability performance during operation.
Equal diameter connection saves space
CMJ can be made with a diameter approximately equal to or equal to the outer diameter of the cable, and can be placed in special positions such as cable bends and high-altitude suspensions, without taking up too much space for installation.
High mechanical strength
The conductor core is welded, and the repaired cable can be bent and dragged.
good sealing performance
On site layered fusion bonding, seamless fusion bonding between the inner and outer semi conductors, insulation body and the original cable, with no interface, and good waterproof performance.
