Description

Descripton

YB-type compact substations, also known as European-style prefabricated substations, comply with GB17467-1998 for high-low voltage substations and IEC1330 standards. Compared to conventional civil substations, they offer key advantages: small footprint, compact structure, easy mobility, which shorten construction periods, reduce land occupation and infrastructure costs. Their on-site installation and maintenance are simple, and they can be positioned closer to load centers to improve power supply quality, minimize power losses, and enhance distribution network reliability. These substations integrate complete functions for power transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, compensation, system control, protection, and communication.

Composed of four parts—high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage distribution panels, distribution transformers, and enclosures—YB substations use high-voltage air load switches and offer dry-type or oil-immersed transformers. The enclosures feature excellent insulation and ventilation structures with upper ventilated ducts to minimize temperature rise in HV/LV transformer rooms, equipped with temperature-controlled forced ventilation and automatic thermal management. Each independent unit is fitted with comprehensive control, protection, live-line indication, and lighting systems.

Main Features
Will the primary and secondary equipment install a portable sealed, temperature control, anti-corrosion moisture-proof anti-rust the cabinet, arriving at the just installed in cement basis. Has less investment, construction period is short, covers an area of less, easy and harmonious environment etc. Characteristics.

What Are the Differences Between Substations, Switching Stations, and Distribution Rooms?A substation is a power facility in the electric power system that transforms voltage levels, receives and distributes electrical energy, controls the direction of power flow, and adjusts voltage. It interconnects power grids of various voltage levels through its transformers. In specific applications—such as submarine power cables or long-distance transmission—some systems use high-voltage direct current (H

  • Application of Maintenance-Free Transformer Breathers in Substations
Currently, traditional-type breathers are widely used in transformers. The moisture-absorbing capability of silica gel is still judged by operation and maintenance personnel through visual observation of the color change of silica gel beads. Subjective judgment by personnel plays a decisive role. Although it has been clearly stipulated that silica gel in transformer breathers should be replaced when more than two-thirds of it changes color, there is still no accurate quantitative method to deter
