The NS2 series AC motor starter is a multifunctional electrical device that integrates isolation, protection, and control functions. Specifically designed for the safe operation of three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motors, it is widely suitable for industrial and commercial power distribution applications. With a rated voltage up to 690V and a current range from 0.1A to 80A, it offers shell frame ratings such as 32A and 80A to meet the adaptation requirements of motors with varying power levels. Additionally, it complies with international and domestic authoritative standards including IEC 60947-2 and GB/T 14048.4, ensuring reliable performance compliance.
In terms of core functionality, this series of starters incorporates a modular design with multiple protections. Short-circuit protection is achieved through an instantaneous electromagnetic trip mechanism, where the iron core can immediately cut off the circuit when the current reaches the set value. Overload protection relies on the thermal effect of a bimetallic strip, combined with temperature compensation, ensuring stable response in environments ranging from -5°C to +40°C. For common motor faults, the differential mechanism amplifies the current imbalance signal during phase loss, rapidly triggering the trip to comprehensively prevent motor damage risks. Additionally, it integrates power distribution line protection and infrequent load transfer functions, and can also serve as an isolator, delivering the "one device, multiple functions" application value.
