Description

GYM7DC series DC molded case circuit breakers are suitable for circuits with rated operating voltage up to DC1500V, rated insulation voltage up to 1500V, rated impulse withstand voltage up to 12kV, and rated current of 10A~630A. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and can withstand environments such as humid air, salt spray, oil mist, mold, etc

1. The GYM7DC series DC plastic shell circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) has a rated working voltage of up to DC1500V, a rated insulation voltage of 1500V, a rated impulse withstand voltage of up to 12kV, and a rated current of 10A~630A.

② Arc extinguishing capacity difference: The GYM7DC adopts a multi-grid arc extinguishing chamber + magnetic blow arc extinguishing structure, which can quickly cut off DC arcs with a maximum breaking capacity of 100kA; traditional AC circuit breakers have a simple arc extinguishing chamber structure and insufficient DC breaking capacity, and forced use may lead to continuous arc combustion and equipment explosion.

③ Protection logic difference: Targeting the characteristics of PV systems, the GYM7DC integrates functions such as reverse connection protection and undervoltage tripping, and the overload protection curve can adapt to the power fluctuation of PV modules; traditional AC circuit breakers only have overload and short-circuit protection, without PV-specific protection functions.

④ Scenario application difference: The GYM7DC is suitable for scenarios such as the DC side of PV power stations, the input end of inverters and DC distribution of energy storage systems; traditional AC circuit breakers are suitable for industrial and civil AC distribution systems, and cannot meet the protection needs of PV DC high voltage.
