Product Overview

Zero -Sequence Current transformer LXSC adopts newly high permeability core with high measuring accuracy. Secondary winding fully enclosed vacuum casting in antiflaming plastic shell. It easily installed by making the primary cable through the whole, applied to electrical system cable with highest equipment voltage 0.72, functioning as the tool of current metering , signal collection, relay protection. The current transformer can be executed according to the standard IEC 61869-1:2007 and IEC 61869-2:2012. Or IEC60044-1.

Key Features

  • High-Precision Current Measurement with Metering-Grade Accuracy:Utilizing high-permeability silicon steel laminations, achieving Class 0.2S accuracy with ≤0.2% ratio error and ≤10' phase displacement across 1%–120% of rated current. Dual secondary outputs (5A/1A) support high-precision metering devices like energy meters and power analyzers, ensuring accurate billing and revenue metering.
  • Fully Enclosed Epoxy Insulation Structure:Vacuum-cast epoxy resin provides hermetic sealing with IP68 protection, allowing continuous submersion in water. Compliant with UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, it operates reliably from -40°C to +120°C, ideal for harsh environments including coastal salt spray, underground mines, and wet basements. Maintenance-free design ensures lifecycle reliability.
  • Wide-Range Multi-Tap Design:Covers ratios from 50/5 to 3000/5A with built-in multi-tap windings (e.g., 200/5A, 400/5A, 800/5A), enabling flexible range switching via external links. Dynamic response ratio of 1:150 maintains linearity from normal load (100A) to short-circuit fault (15kA), ensuring accurate measurement across diverse operating conditions.
  • Anti-Saturation & Fast Transient Response:Special magnetic circuit design prevents core saturation up to 20x rated current. Class 5P20 protection winding delivers ≤10ms response time, supporting overcurrent and differential protection schemes. Effectively safeguards electrical equipment against short-circuit damage and overload conditions.

What is reactive power measurement?
The power which exists in the circuit when the voltage and current are out of phase to each other, such type of power is known as the reactive power. The formula measures the reactive power in the circuitReactive Power Measurement & VarmetersReactive power measurement is critical as it indicates circuit power loss: low reactive power worsens load power factor, increasing system losses. Varmeters (volt-ampere reactive meters) measure reactive power and are categorized by circuit phases:Single

How to Design and Install a Solar PV System?
How to Design and Install a Solar PV System?
Design and Installation of Solar PV SystemsModern society relies on energy for daily needs like industry, heating, transport, and agriculture, mostly met by non-renewable sources (coal, oil, gas). However, these cause environmental harm, are unevenly distributed, and face price volatility due to limited reserves—driving demand for renewable energy.Solar energy, abundant and capable of meeting global needs, stands out. Standalone PV systems (Fig 1) offer energy independence from utilities.

What are the common faults that occur when low-voltage current transformers are combined with other power equipment?
What are the common faults that occur when low-voltage current transformers are combined with other power equipment?
Low-voltage current transformers, as indispensable measurement and protection devices in power systems, often encounter various faults when used in combination with other power equipment due to environmental factors, equipment linkage issues, and improper installation and maintenance. These faults not only affect the normal operation of power equipment but may also endanger personal safety. Therefore, it is necessary to gain an in-depth understanding of fault types, judgment methods, and prevent
