Abstract:

The invention discloses a ring main unit provided with an air circulation structure. The bottom of the ring main unit cabinet body is of a composite structure, comprising a heating layer. The heating layer is provided with heating rods, a humidity sensor, and a fan. The top wall of the heating layer is provided with through-holes/permeable holes. The fan is arranged on one side of the heating layer, and the heating rods are uniformly arranged within the heating layer. The top of the ring main unit cabinet body is provided with an opening, where a pressure relief cover is installed. The middle part of the pressure relief cover is provided with a ventilation mechanism, which includes louvers and a filter screen arranged from top to bottom. The temperature sensor, heating rods, and fan are all connected to a controller. When the humidity is high and exceeds a preset threshold, the controller controls the heating rods to heat and the fan to blow air. The hot air is discharged upwards through the through-holes/permeable holes and expelled through the pressure relief cover, thereby achieving drying.

A ring main unit provided with an air circulation structure,      characterized in that, the bottom of the ring main unit cabinet body is of      a composite structure, comprising a heating layer; the heating layer is      provided with heating rods, a humidity sensor, and a fan; the top wall of      the heating layer is provided with through-holes/permeable holes; the fan      is arranged on one side of the heating layer; the heating rods are      uniformly arranged within the heating layer; the top of the ring main unit      cabinet body is provided with an opening, where a pressure relief cover is      installed; the middle part of the pressure relief cover is provided with a      ventilation mechanism; the ventilation mechanism includes louvers and a      filter screen arranged from top to bottom; the temperature sensor, heating      rods, and fan are all connected to a controller.

The ring main unit provided with an air circulation structure      according to claim 1, characterized in that, a fixed shaft is welded at      the opening; the fixed shaft is hingedly connected to a first end of the      pressure relief cover; the pressure relief cover is provided with      ventilation holes; a second end of the pressure relief cover is hingedly      connected to a piston rod; a cylinder is fixedly connected to the      switchgear cabinet shell via a cylinder fixing bracket; the switchgear      cabinet shell is also provided with a pressure sensor and an audible      alarm; the pressure sensor, audible alarm, and cylinder are all connected      to the controller.

A Ring Main Unit (RMU) is a set of power transmission and distribution electrical equipment (high-voltage switchgear) installed inside a metal or non-metal insulated cabinet or assembled as a modular ring network power supply unit. Its core part uses load switches and fuses, offering advantages such as simple structure, small size, low cost, improved power supply parameters and performance, and enhanced power supply safety. It is widely used in power distribution stations and box-type substations at load centers like urban residential areas, high-rise buildings, large public buildings, and industrial enterprises.

Most of these ring main units are installed on the ground floor or in basements, where ventilation conditions are poor, and environmental humidity varies significantly. This can easily cause moisture ingress into the equipment inside the enclosed ring main units. Long-term operation under such conditions can gradually reduce the insulation of the equipment within the ring main unit, leading to incidents such as equipment insulation breakdown and equipment explosion, seriously endangering the power grid and personal safety. Therefore, it is necessary to design a device that can achieve ventilation and dehumidification for the equipment inside the ring main unit in coordination with existing control software.
