
A transformer ya nufin da wani alama mai yadda da ke kula da taurari daga wata kayan aiki zuwa wata mafi kayan aiki a kan kula mai magana. Ana amfani da shi a gaba da kara (‘step up’) ko zama (‘step down’) tsari daga wata kayan aiki zuwa wata.
