7. Working Principles

  • Power Conversion: Utilizes transformers to step down incoming HV (e.g., 12-40.5kV) to usable LV (e.g., 400V). Current transformers (CTs) scale currents for measurement/protection.
  • Power Distribution: Uses busbar systems within the LV compartment to collect and distribute power to outgoing circuits, controlled by switchgear (breakers, isolators).
  • Protection & Control: Equipped with relay protection devices to detect faults (short circuit, overload) and trip breakers. Automated control systems enable real-time monitoring and adjustment.
  • Communication: Secondary systems transmit measurement, protection, and control signals internally. Network connectivity enables remote data transmission to control centers for SCADA integration.

8. Customization & Service

  • Custom Solutions: ROCKWILL specializes in providing tailored designs based on specific client requirements, including primary wiring schematics (e.g., Type B, Type D for 40.5kV).
  • Comprehensive Support: Offers full solutions encompassing design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning.
  • After-Sales Service: Provides competent, trained field service representatives for installation guidance, maintenance, repair, and warranty support.
