Description

Core Architecture: Modular Design for Multi-Scenario Deployment

The cold plate liquid cooling air-assisted CDU system consists of circulation pumps, air-liquid radiators, pressure stabilization devices, coolant refill systems, piping, power distribution, and control systems — enabling integrated management of coolant circulation, heat exchange, pressure stabilization, and monitoring.

Two deployment configurations are available:

Rack-mount CDU: Standard rack dimensions (990mm × 440mm × 490mm), installs directly into a standard cabinet — ideal for high-density rack-mount server clusters.

High-Efficiency Coolant Distribution Unit (DUC)

Cabinet CDU: Independent enclosure design with high integration and scalability — suitable for centralized liquid cooling in medium to large data centers, supporting larger-scale computing loads.

Four Core Features: Efficient, Stable, Intelligent, Convenient

1.High Efficiency & Adaptive Operation

Pumps and fans support automatic variable frequency control, dynamically adjusting operating power based on server load and coolant temperature — eliminating unnecessary energy consumption, significantly reducing PUE, and supporting green data center upgrades.

High-efficiency heat exchange design with a rated capacity of 14 kW. Coolant operating range: 5–70°C (typical server inlet temperature setpoint: 25–45°C). Server inlet temperature can be precisely controlled to keep GPUs/CPUs operating in the optimal temperature range, effectively reducing the risk of overheating-related failures.

2. Redundant Design for Uninterrupted Operation

Pumps, fans, and power supplies are all redundantly configured. In the event of a failure, backup modules automatically engage, preventing single points of failure from causing cooling interruptions and ensuring 7×24 stable operation.

Equipped with a 2L expansion tank for automatic pressure maintenance and coolant replenishment. The system continuously monitors coolant level and automatically refills as needed — no manual intervention required.

The WONE liquid cooling automation control system enables end-to-end digital management:

High-Efficiency Coolant Distribution Unit (DUC)

  • Real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, flow rate, and coolant level. A visual interface displays equipment status, with remote access and monitoring support.
  • Built-in fault diagnosis and alarm mechanisms. Abnormal conditions trigger alerts via audible/visual signals, SMS, or email. Fault information is automatically logged and reported, helping operators quickly locate issues.
  • Supports centralized monitoring across geographically dispersed data centers. Historical data is used to train models for aggregated load analysis and cooling strategy optimization, enabling early identification of potential equipment failures.

4. Convenient Maintenance for Lower Lifecycle Cost

Drain-free maintenance design: CPU/GPU replacement requires draining only the local quick-connect loop, not the entire coolant inventory — reducing maintenance complexity and downtime.

Compared to equivalent air-cooled solutions, operating noise is significantly lower, creating a quieter environment.

Turnkey solution design — the unit is ready for use upon unpacking and power connection. Custom configurations are available on request, requiring no complex on-site commissioning, and can be quickly adapted to different data center deployment needs.

  • Temperature Control: Inlet and outlet temperature sensors monitor coolant temperature in real time, dynamically adjusting pumps and motorized control valves to maintain coolant temperature within the set range — preventing local overheating or overcooling.
  • Pressure Control: Pressure sensors continuously monitor system pressure. The pump VFD adjusts to regulate pressure, and abnormal fluctuations trigger alarms to ensure piping safety.
  • Flow Control: Flow sensors monitor coolant flow in real time. Pump frequency is adjusted based on server load for precise flow distribution, avoiding wasted resources.
  • Water Quality Monitoring & Control: Conductivity sensors monitor coolant quality. When conductivity exceeds limits, the system automatically activates the ion exchange resin filter to purify the coolant, preventing pipe corrosion and equipment failure.
  • Automatic Operation & Switchover: Supports scheduled start/stop and timed operation. Dual-pump redundancy enables automatic fault switchover, ensuring uninterrupted system operation.

Applications

  • AI computing centers, high-density GPU server clusters
  • Supercomputing centers, HPC (high-performance computing) facilities
  • New builds and retrofit projects for medium to large data centers
  • Facilities with demanding requirements for cooling efficiency, noise control, and maintenance convenience

Three Core Values of Choosing WONE CDU

  • Higher Computing Stability: Precision temperature control + redundant design reduces overheating-related failures, extends server service life, and ensures sustained computing output.
  • Lower Operating Costs: Variable frequency energy savings + drain-free maintenance reduce PUE and labor costs, delivering lifecycle cost efficiency.
  • Future-Ready Scalability: Modular design + multi-scenario deployment allows flexible expansion as computing capacity grows, supporting evolving liquid cooling technology.
