Product Detail

Product Introduction

Post composite insulators consist of a core rod, end fittings, and a silicone rubber umbrella skirt sheath. They are mainly used for insulation and mechanical fixation of busbars and electrical equipment in power plants and substations. Their categories include post composite insulators for busbars, post composite insulators for reactors, and composite insulators for disconnectors, among other high-voltage electrical equipment.

The connection between the epoxy resin glass fiber rod and the fittings adopts a crimping process, with crimping parameters controlled digitally, ensuring consistent and reliable mechanical performance. The umbrella skirts and sheaths are made of silicone rubber, and the umbrella shape is designed with an aerodynamic structure, featuring excellent pollution flashover resistance. The sealing of the umbrella skirts, sheaths, and end fittings is achieved through high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber integral injection molding, ensuring reliable interface and sealing performance.

Hollow composite insulators are composed of aluminum alloy flanges, glass fiber-reinforced resin sleeves, and silicone rubber umbrella skirt sheaths. They are commonly used in high-voltage electrical equipment such as GIS combined switches, transformers, mutual inductors, capacitors, arresters, cable accessories, and wall bushings.

The connection between the glass fiber-reinforced resin sleeve and the aluminum alloy flange adopts a process where a sealing ring is placed, followed by pressurization and epoxy bonding. The parameters are digitally controlled, ensuring consistent and reliable mechanical performance. The umbrella skirts and sheaths are made of silicone rubber, with an aerodynamic umbrella shape design that provides excellent pollution flashover resistance. The umbrella skirts, sheaths, and end fittings are sealed using a combination of high-temperature and room-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber molding processes, ensuring reliable interface and sealing performance.

Product Features

  • Silicone rubber has excellent hydrophobicity and migration properties, with outstanding pollution flashover resistance. It can operate safely in heavily polluted areas without the need for manual cleaning or zero-value detection and maintenance.

  • Reliable structure, stable performance, large safety margin for operation, high mechanical strength, and good seismic performance. It avoids phenomena such as porcelain breakage, collapse, and explosion, providing guarantee for the safe operation of power stations.

  • Excellent high and low temperature resistance, atmospheric aging resistance, and ozone aging resistance.

  • Lightweight, convenient for transportation and installation.

What is the difference between a dielectric and an insulator?
What is the difference between a dielectric and an insulator?
Dielectrics and insulators are distinguished primarily by their applications. One of the main differences is that a dielectric can store electrical energy by becoming polarized in an electric field, whereas an insulator resists the flow of electrons to prevent current conduction. Other key differences between them are outlined in the comparison chart below.Definition of DielectricA dielectric material is a type of insulator that contains few or no free electrons. When subjected to an electric fi

Fault Analysis and Treatment of Oil-Immersed Transformers
Oil Leakage at Welded JointsOil leakage at welded joints primarily stems from poor welding quality, such as incomplete or detached welds, and defects like pinholes and gas pores. Although oil-immersed transformers are initially coated with solder and paint during manufacturing, potentially masking these issues temporarily, the defects tend to surface during operation. Additionally, electromagnetic vibration can cause weld cracks, leading to oil leakage. To resolve such leaks, the first critical s

What losses occur during operation of the transformer? How to reduce losses?
Transformers experience various types of losses during operation, primarily categorized into two main types: copper losses and iron losses.Copper LossesCopper losses, also known as I²R losses, are caused by the electrical resistance of the transformer windings—typically made of copper. As current flows through the windings, energy is dissipated in the form of heat. These losses are proportional to the square of the load current (I²R), meaning they increase significantly with high
