Description

Description:

Breakthrough innovation is achieved through technology integration. Combining the product development experience of air-insulated switchgear and gas-insulated switchgear, the QGG Series Solid Insulated Switchgear has been developed, which represents a major breakthrough in the field of medium-voltage technology and features high operational safety. As a core unit of the power distribution network, it is applied in power distribution networks. It adopts a vacuum interrupter for arc extinction, and its high-voltage live parts are molded from solid insulating materials with excellent insulating performance (epoxy resin materials), eliminating the air chamber with a pressure of 0.03Mpa and realizing full insulation, full sealing, and maintenance-free operation. The QGG Series Solid Insulated Switchgear is equipped with an intelligent online monitoring system, which monitors the status of key components inside the switchgear in real time, acquires status parameters, automatically evaluates the possibility of faults, and provides strong protection for the normal operation of the switchgear and the entire power distribution line. After years of dedicated R&D, the solid insulated switchgear has formed IV product series, each with its own unique characteristics.

Solutions - Solid Insulated Ring Main Unit

  • Research and Optimization of Temperature Rise in 12kV Solid Insulated Ring Main Units
The solid insulated ring main unit (RMU) is a novel distribution equipment that integrates external solid encapsulation, insulated busbar, and compact combined unit technology. Its switches and high-voltage live components are entirely embedded in epoxy resin, which serves as the primary insulation between live parts and ground, and between phases. As an environmentally friendly alternative to SF₆ gas-insulated equipment, the 12kV solid insulated RMU offers advantages but inherently suffers from
  • Investing Wisely: The Compelling Life Cycle Cost of Solid Insulated Switchgear
"Economy" remains paramount in power equipment procurement decisions. When it comes to Solid Insulated Ring Main Units (SIRMUs), the seemingly higher initial price often causes concern. However, a deeper analysis of their Life Cycle Cost (LCC) reveals a surprisingly compelling economic picture – it emerges as the wiser and ultimately more cost-effective choice.Initial Investment: A Misunderstood Starting PointAdmittedly, the purchase price of a SIRMU can be about 5%-15% higher than tra
  • Research on Partial Discharge Detection Technology for Solid-Insulated Ring Main Units
With the development of urban power grids, the number of solid-insulated ring main unit (RMU) installations has continuously increased. Their operational status significantly impacts the power supply reliability of the electrical system. The consequences of failures are severe: direct damage includes damage to the protected lines and equipment, as well as power loss; indirect consequences cause widespread customer outages, disrupting daily life, production, and even social stability.Currently, t
