ROCKWILL OMR Type Outdoor Gas Insulated Ring Main Unit is compact metal-enclosed modular switchgear designed for outdoor medium voltage distribution networks. Its primary live components are sealed within a stainless steel tank filled with insulating gas, delivering high integration and stable performance regardless of dust, moisture and temperature fluctuation. The product complies with IEC 62271-1:2017, IEC 62271-103:2019 and IEC 62271-200:2021. Relevant documents include Type Test Certificate No. TT-2025-04148, Witness Test Report No. WT-2025-09081, Routine Factory Test Report No. FT-2025 series, Raw Material Mill Certificates, all issued by CNAS accredited independent high voltage test laboratory and available for tender submission, utility review and project site acceptance. Manual or motorized operating mechanisms are optional, paired with fault passage indicators and communication modules to support distribution automation. The tank and enclosure adopt anti-corrosion treatment, well suited for outdoor tropical, coastal and heavily polluted environments.

The OMR gas insulated RMU has all high-voltage live parts hermetically sealed inside a stainless steel gas tank. It is fully factory assembled and tested, with compact footprint and immune to outdoor dust and humidity.

This outdoor GIS RMU can be supplied for 11kV, 22kV and 33kV medium voltage systems, with flexible bay combinations of ring-in, ring-out and transformer protection modules.

Manual spring mechanism is standard for local operation. Motorized actuator can be selected to support remote opening/closing, matching fault indicator and SCADA system for automatic fault management.
