The RCW   series automatic circuit reclosers can use on overhead distribution lines as well as distribution substation applications for allvoltage classes 11kV up to 38kV at 50/60Hz power system.  and it’s rated current can reach 1250A.The RCW   series automatic circuit reclosers integrates the functions of control, protection, measurement, communication, fault detection, on-line monitoring of closing or opening.The RCW   series vacuum recloser is mainly combined with integration terminal, current transformer, permanent magnetic actuator and it’s recloser controller.

Features:

  • Full-Vacuum Arc Extinguishing System:Utilizes longitudinal magnetic field vacuum interrupters and epoxy-cast poles, with a short-circuit breaking capacity of 16kA/25 cycles and a mechanical lifespan exceeding 10,000 operations, suitable for frequent switching scenarios.

  • Integrated Intelligent Control Platform:Equipped with FTU and edge computing modules, supports GOOSE communication, fault waveform recording, and seamless SCADA system integration, enabling remote iterative updates of protection logic via cloud platforms.

  • Industrial-Grade Environmental Endurance Design:Features an IP67-rated enclosure, operates across a wide temperature range (-45℃ to +70℃), and is validated for both salt spray corrosion (Kesternich 1440h) and seismic resistance (intensity 8).

  • Operating Mechanism: Common types include spring-operated mechanisms and permanent magnet-operated mechanisms. Spring-operated mechanisms are simple in structure, highly reliable, and easy to maintain. Permanent magnet-operated mechanisms, on the other hand, offer advantages such as fast action, low energy consumption, and long mechanical life, enabling quick and precise opening and closing operations of the recloser.

  • Current Transformers and Voltage Transformers: Some reclosers are equipped with current transformers and voltage transformers to measure current and voltage signals in the line. These transformers provide data support for protective devices and control devices, enabling the monitoring and protection functions of the power system.
