Document description

This document applies to the technical requirements for the design, testing, supply, installation, and related supporting equipment (sensors, controllers, cables, etc.) of  Ring Main Units  on EEHC in 24kV HV Switchgear.

ROCKWILL 24kV Ring Main Unit is engineered to fully comply with EEHC Distribution Materials Specification EDMS 02-202-1 for Egyptian medium voltage distribution network. It covers both gas-insulated (GIS) and air-insulated (AIS) type, rated voltage 24kV, rated current up to 630A /1250A, short-time withstand current 20kA,25kA for 3 seconds. Primary conductors adopt high conductivity copper with silver-plated contact surfaces. Stainless steel welded gas tank for GIS version, fully mechanical five-prevention interlock, optional motorized actuator and DTU for distribution automation. Type tests shall be performed in accordance with IEC 62271 series standards and EEHC mandatory test clauses, suitable for urban distribution, solar farm and indoor substation projects in Egypt.
