The SF6 gas-insulated switchgear RMR-24/630 is designed for medium-voltage power distribution systems with a rated voltage up to 24kV (25kV). It serves as a highly reliable Ring Main Unit (RMU) in power supply networks, providing fault isolation and sectionalizing capabilities. When equipped with smart distribution automation devices (FTU/DTU) and communication modules, it enables real-time monitoring and remote control for modern smart grids.
This product operates with a safe, fully sealed SF6 gas tank, ensuring a compact structure, longevity, and a maintenance-free lifecycle. It is in strict conformity with the international standard IEC 62271-105.
Robust Panel Enclosure: The main enclosure is constructed from 2mm aluminum-zinc-coated (Alu-Zinc) steel plates using multi-bending technology. This design ensures high mechanical strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and an aesthetically precise finish.
Top-Mounted Busbar Compartment: The main busbar compartment is securely located at the top of the unit, facilitating safe and efficient interconnections with adjacent modular panels to form a complete switchgear assembly.
SF6 Gas-Insulated Load Break Switch (LBS): The core switching unit features a highly reliable Load Break Switch housed within a hermetically sealed SF6 gas tank, ensuring excellent arc-quenching capabilities and a maintenance-free lifecycle.
Spacious Cable Compartment: Occupying approximately 75% of the lower cabinet volume, this generously sized compartment provides ample room for power cable terminations, as well as the installation of high-voltage fuses, earthing switches, and potential transformers (PT).
Mechanism & Interlocking System: The operating mechanism chamber houses precision actuators, mechanical interlocks, position indicators, auxiliary contact trip coils, and charge status indicators. These components work together to provide foolproof "5-prevent" safety interlocking, strictly adhering to IEC safety protocols.
Low-Voltage (LV) Control Chamber: Conveniently located at the top front of the panel, the LV chamber is isolated from high-voltage areas. It is designed for housing protective relays, metering instruments, and motorized control units, ensuring safe access for operators.
Circuit Breaker Integration (Optional): Depending on the specific RMR-24/630 configuration, an SF6 or Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) can be integrated below the load break switch for enhanced short-circuit protection.
