Description

SF6 insulated ring main unit switchgear has the advantages of compact structure, fully enclosed type, fully insulated layer, long life, maintenance-free, small indoor space occupation, reliable, and will not be harmed by the working environment. It is widely used in industrial production and civil cable ring network and the tail end of power supply system. It is very suitable for small and medium secondary substations, opening and closing stations, factories and mines, airports, railway lines, residential quarters, multi-storey buildings, highways, subway stations, tunnel construction and other industries.

Structural features

  • The ring main unit switchgear uses high-quality stainless steel case.
  • The stainless steel plate is cut by fiber laser and welded by welding robot to ensure the airtightness of the dust collector.
  • The box is filled with SF6 gas and undergoes synchronous vacuum packaging for leak detection. High-voltage load switch, grounding device power switch, circuit breaker insulating layer canister and other power switch-themed movable components and bus ducts are all sealed in the stainless steel box. The protection level is P67.
  • High-efficiency SF₆ gas insulation: Uses SF₆ gas as the insulating medium, featuring high insulation strength and excellent arc-extinguishing performance. It can stably block current leakage in high-voltage environments, significantly reducing the risk of faults such as short circuits and flashovers, ensuring reliable operation of the equipment in complex power grids.
  • Compact integrated design: The overall structure is small and compact, with a small footprint, facilitating installation in space-constrained scenarios such as urban substations and industrial parks. It also integrates switching, protection, and other functions, simplifying the layout of the power distribution system.
  • Multiple safety protections: Equipped with complete mechanical and electrical interlocking devices to prevent incorrect switching and misoperations; built-in SF₆ gas leakage monitoring system provides real-time warnings of leakage risks, complying with international safety standards to ensure operation and maintenance safety.
  • Low maintenance and high durability: The fully sealed gas chamber design effectively isolates dust, moisture, and corrosive substances, reducing erosion of internal components by the external environment. It enables long-term maintenance-free operation with a service life of over 20 years, lowering the whole-life-cycle cost.
  • Flexible power distribution adaptability: Supports multiple wiring methods (such as ring network, radial, etc.) and can be quickly connected with transformers, cables, and other equipment.
