| Model NO. | SF6 Gas Insulated ring main unit for MV Distribution Network-12kV |
| Rated voltage | 12kV |
| Rated frequency | 50/60Hz |
| Series | XGN |
XGN15-12 SF6 gas insulated ring main unit is a compact metal-enclosed switchgear for 12kV medium-voltage distribution networks. It provides technical solutions for ring-network and dual-radial power supply systems, and can also serve as terminal supply with control and protection for electrical energy, suitable for box-type substations.
The switchgear features mechanical interlocks preventing load switch operation when the earthing switch is closed, and preventing enclosure access with the earthing switch in the closed position. Sensing technology and modern protection relays make it suitable for demanding environments such as hospitals and airports.
