The Rockwill RVR-1 is a single-phase oil-immersed automatic voltage regulator, fully designed to meet IEC voltage regulator specifications for industrial manufacturing environments. Built with an autotransformer as the core, it is equipped with an advanced RVR control unit that continuously samples real-time voltage and current signals from the distribution network via built-in potential and current transformers. By adopting a motor-driven on-load tap changer (OLTC), the RVR dynamically adjusts voltage output to match fluctuating load demands, ensuring stable and reliable power supply for critical industrial processes.
The RVR-1 delivers high-precision voltage regulation and maintains stable output in complex and changeable industrial power scenarios. It adjusts distribution line voltage across a wide boost and buck range through 32 fine steps, covering ratings from 13.2 kV to 19.92 kV for 60 Hz systems. 50 Hz voltage ratings (6 kV, 11 kV, 15 kV, 22 kV, 33 kV) are available on request.
Built with internal potential winding taps and an external ratio correction transformer, the voltage regulator adapts to multiple system voltage configurations commonly encountered in industrial facilities. The core and winding assembly are housed in a sealed, oil-immersed tank with self-cooled (ONAN) operation, providing thermal stability and dielectric strength for continuous service in harsh industrial environments.
The RVR-1 integrates built-in overload protection to safeguard against abnormal load conditions and coordinates with upstream protective devices for secure network integration. Its robust construction and intelligent control make it an ideal choice for industrial manufacturing facilities requiring consistent voltage quality to protect sensitive production equipment.
On-load tap-changing autotransformer:Motor-driven OLTC enables voltage regulation under load without interrupting power supply, critical for continuous industrial processes
Advanced RVR digital controller:Continuously samples voltage and current via PT and CT inputs, automatically selecting the optimum tap position to stabilize output voltage across fluctuating industrial loads
Broad regulation range in fine steps:Multi-step tap changer provides wide boost and buck coverage with fine resolution, enabling precise voltage matching for sensitive manufacturing equipment
Oil-immersed robust construction:Sealed tank with mineral oil provides natural cooling, dielectric insulation, and corrosion protection for reliable operation in industrial environments with dust, moisture, and temperature extremes
Built-in overload protection:Safeguards against abnormal load conditions, coordinating with upstream protective devices for secure integration into factory power systems
Remote monitoring and communication:Optional GPRS or GSM module enables remote tap position monitoring, fault diagnostics, and parameter configuration, reducing on-site inspection in distributed industrial facilities
Flexible voltage configuration:Internal potential winding taps and external ratio correction transformer allow one regulator to serve multiple system voltages, simplifying inventory management for industrial users
IEC and IEEE compliant :Designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60076, IEC 60214, and IEEE C57.15
