Series | DDX |
The DDX1 Short-Circuit Current Limiter is a high-speed switch capable of interrupting short-circuit currents. It can break the short-circuit current within 10ms after a short-circuit fault occurs—well before the instantaneous value of the short-circuit current rises to its expected peak.Integrating fast cutting technology, high-voltage current limiting technology, electronic measurement and control technology, and high-voltage insulation technology, it enables rapid current limiting and interruption of short-circuit currents in power generation, distribution, and consumption systems. This protects key power equipment such as generators and transformers from the impact of catastrophic short-circuit currents.Meanwhile, it can also optimize the operation mode of the distribution system, achieving effects such as energy conservation and consumption reduction, improved power quality, and enhanced power supply reliability.
Product Features and Benefits
Strong short-circuit breaking capacity (large capacity), rated breaking short-circuit current of 50kA~200kA.
Fast breaking speed (high speed), the whole breaking time is less than 10ms.
The opening process has obvious current limiting characteristics (current limiting).
The action criterion uses the instantaneous value of current and the instantaneous value of current change rate.
The current sensor is integrated with a fast isolator for a simplified structure.
The electronic controller works independently in three phases through high temperature and strong interference tests to ensure the overall reliability of the product.
