JW5 Series HV Grounding Switch

  • JW5 Series HV Grounding Switch

Key attributes

Brand Wone
Model NO. 363KV 550KV 800KV 1100KVseries high voltage earthing switch
Rated voltage 1100KV
Series JW5 Series
Description

Description:
JW5 series high voltage grounding switch is composed of three single poles and operating mechanism. Each single pole consists of a base, a pillar insulator and a conducting rod. The conductive rod is installed on the base, and the static contact is installed on the top of the pillar insulator.
The operating mechanism drives the conductive rod to rotate upward from the horizontal position through the transmission element, and is stuck or inserted into the static contact to realize the closing of the ground switch, and the opening process is the opposite.

Main Features:

  • The product structure is simple and reasonable, easy to assemble, transport, install and debug.

  • The conductive rod is made of high-strength alloy profiles with good electrical conductivity, high mechanical strength, light weight, strong anti-corrosion ability and long service life.

What is the working principle of the indoor high-voltage AC grounding switch?

During normal operation, the grounding switch is in the open position, not affecting the normal operation of high-voltage electrical equipment. When maintenance of the high-voltage electrical equipment is required, the relevant power sources are first disconnected. Then, the grounding switch is closed through the operating mechanism, connecting the conductive parts of the equipment to be maintained reliably to the grounding network. This action ensures that any residual charge on the equipment is safely discharged to the ground, preventing the risk of electric shock to maintenance personnel when they come into contact with the equipment.

    1. Core Principle SummaryIn simple terms, its core principle can be summarized as a three-step AC-DC-AC conversion, with the key step being to increase the frequency first, then transform the voltage.2. Working PrincipleRectification:First, the input line-frequency AC power (e.g., 50 Hz or 60 Hz) is rectified into DC power using power electronic devices (such as IGBTs). This step converts low-frequency AC into stable DC, preparing it for subsequent processing.High-Frequency Chopping (Inversion):
