Ang solid insulated switchgear ay isang ganap na naprotektahan at naseal na environmental protection device. Ang mga live parts ay naseal sa epoxy resin insulation cylinder, ang ibabaw ay may coating ng grounding shielding layer, at ang silicon rubber ay nagseal sa bus. Ang plug-in solid insulation busbar ay ginagamit para i-connect ang dalawang magkatabing switchgears. Ang buong switchgear ay hindi naapektuhan ng panlabas na kapaligiran.
