Description

The RDS series outdoor high-voltage disconnector is designed for three-phase AC power systems at 12 kV, 40.5 kV, and 72.5 kV. It is used for no-load line switching and isolation of high-voltage equipment, providing visible isolating gaps for safe maintenance.

The disconnector adopts a double-post vertical-break design. Two post insulators support the conductive arm, which is driven by the operating mechanism and connecting rod through a 90° rotary motion to complete opening and closing. A vertical isolating gap is formed after opening, with adjustable phase spacing.

Each disconnector consists of a conductive arm, post insulators, operating insulator, and base. The conductive arm is made of high-conductivity copper alloy, providing high mechanical strength and large radiation area. Manual or motor operating mechanisms can be selected as required.

The product is available with an earthing switch on one or both sides, and is fully assembled and adjusted before delivery to minimize on-site installation work.
