Description

DC MCCB (DC Molded Case Circuit Breaker) is a core protection and control device specifically designed for DC power systems. It adopts a high-strength insulated molded case packaging structure and integrates functions of current detection, fault judgment, and instantaneous breaking. Its core role is to realize the reasonable distribution of electrical energy in DC power distribution circuits, while accurately identifying and quickly cutting off faults such as overload, short circuit, and undervoltage in the circuit. This prevents fault expansion from damaging DC power supplies, power distribution equipment, and downstream loads (such as energy storage systems, photovoltaic inverters, DC motors, etc.), making it a key component to ensure the stable and safe operation of DC power systems.

Features

  • Strong DC Breaking Capacity: Aiming at the characteristic of "difficult arc extinction" in DC circuits, it is equipped with a dedicated DC arc-extinguishing system (such as a multi-slit arc-extinguishing chamber and a magnetic blow device). The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) can reach several tens of kiloamperes (e.g., 50KA~100KA, depending on the specific model), which can quickly extinguish fault arcs and ensure breaking reliability.

  • Accurate Fault Protection: It supports multiple protection functions such as overload long-time delay, short circuit short-time delay, instantaneous short circuit, and undervoltage protection. The protection parameters can be flexibly set according to the rated current and load characteristics of the DC system, adapting to DC power distribution scenarios of different power levels.

  • Wide Voltage and Current Adaptability: The voltage level covers DC 24V~1500V (suitable for low-voltage and medium-voltage DC systems), and the rated current range is from several tens of amperes to several hundreds of amperes (e.g., 63A~630A). It can meet the power distribution needs of different scenarios such as energy storage power stations, data center UPS, and photovoltaic DC combiner boxes.

  • High Environmental Adaptability: It uses high and low temperature resistant, anti-aging insulating materials and a sealed structure. The operating temperature range can reach -30℃~+70℃, and it has a certain degree of dustproof and moisture-proof performance (some models meet the IP40 protection level), making it suitable for complex environments such as outdoors, computer rooms, and industrial workshops.
