Description

Product Overview

The RHB series porcelain column SF6 gas circuit breaker is designed specifically for outdoor high-voltage environments. It adopts self extinguishing arc technology and the excellent insulation arc extinguishing characteristics of SF6 gas, which can quickly extinguish arcs and efficiently cut off fault currents. The product has the core advantage of ' full range voltage customization' , covering standard voltage levels of 40.5kV-363kV, while supporting non-standard voltage customization such as 52kV and 132kV, accurately matching the personalized needs of new and old power grid transformation and special industrial scenarios. It is the core equipment for improving the safety and stability of the power system.

About customization

We offer full customization services for voltage classes, including single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase configurations, as well as non-standard voltage/current solutions. Examples of available voltage and current specifications include 1250 A 75 kV, 3200 A 46 kV, 60 kV, 69 kV, and 75 kV (we support customization ranging from 12 kV to 550 kV for voltage and 1250 A to 5000 A for current). Regardless of your power grid's voltage specifications, we tailor the circuit breaker for seamless integration.

All products are fully assembled and tested at our factory before being shipped directly to your site--no disassembly of key components is required. This eliminates the need for on-site high-voltage testing, significantly saving you time and costs.

Features

  • Flexible voltage customization: Supports standard (40.5kV/72.5kV/145kV, etc.) and non-standard (52kV/132kV/230kV, etc.) voltage customization, with current adaptation up to 4000A, perfectly matching different power grid architectures and industrial power needs.

  • High efficiency arc extinguishing performance: Adopting self energy arc extinguishing technology, relying on the strong electronic adsorption ability of SF6 gas, the arc extinguishing speed is fast, and the rated short-circuit withstand current is up to 63kA, ensuring rapid cut-off of fault current.

  • Ultra low gas leakage: Optimized sealing structure design, annual SF6 gas leakage rate ≤0.5%, far superior to the industry average, avoiding safety hazards and reducing environmental impact.

  • Ultra long maintenance cycle: The overall reliability of the equipment is high, with a maintenance cycle of up to 30 years, significantly reducing the frequency of operation and maintenance and long-term operating costs, and adapting to the needs of unmanned substations.

  • Strong environmental adaptability: It can operate stably in a wide temperature range of -40 ℃~+40 ℃, withstand high altitude and Class IV air pollution, with wind resistance pressure and anti icing thickness of up to 20mm, suitable for various outdoor harsh scenes.

  • Precise safety monitoring: Equipped with pointer type density relays, real-time monitoring of SF6 gas pressure and density, timely warning of abnormal states, and avoiding the risk of insulation failure.

  • Low partial discharge and high insulation: The partial discharge capacity is less than 5PC, and the insulation performance is excellent. After lightning impulse testing and power frequency withstand voltage testing, it ensures long-term operation without insulation discharge hazards.

  • Outdoor specific structure: Compact and sturdy ceramic pillar support design, reasonable layout, strong anti-interference ability, suitable for outdoor decentralized installation and complex weather conditions.

FAQ
Q: What Non-standard voltage level customization services can be provided for this tank-type circuit breaker?
A:
We provide customized services for the following voltage levels, including but not limited to11kV/12kV/13.8kV/15kV/22kV/33kV/44kV/60kV/63kV/66kV/69kV/88kV/
115kV/123kV/125kV/126kV/132kV/138kV/145kV/150kV/170kV/184kV/204kV/220kV/
225kV/230kV/245kV/275kV/330kV/345kV/400kV/756kV/800kV.
Q: 225kV/230kV/245kV all fall into the medium-high voltage category. What are their core differences?
A:

The main differences lie in rated voltage calibration and insulation level requirements. 245kV is closer to the standard 252kV class, while 225kV/230kV are mostly customized for regional needs to match specific power grid loads.

Q: What are the core differences between live tank circuit breakers and tank circuit breakers?
A:
  1. The core differences between porcelain column circuit breakers and tank circuit breakers—two main structural types of high-voltage circuit breakers—lie in six key aspects.
  2. Structurally, porcelain column types are supported by porcelain insulation pillars, with open-layout components like arc extinguishing chambers and operating mechanisms. Tank types use metal-sealed tanks to encapsulate and highly integrate all core parts.
  3. For insulation, the former relies on porcelain pillars, air, or composite insulating materials; the latter combines SF₆ gas (or other insulating gases) with metal tanks.
  4. Arc extinguishing chambers are mounted on the top or pillars of porcelain columns for the former, while built inside metal tanks for the latter.
  5. In application, porcelain column types suit outdoor high-voltage distribution with a dispersed layout; tank types adapt flexibly to indoor/outdoor scenarios, especially space-constrained environments.
  6. Maintenance-wise, the former’s exposed components enable targeted repairs; the latter’s sealed structure reduces overall maintenance frequency but requires full inspections for local faults.
  7. Technically, porcelain column types offer intuitive structure and strong anti-pollution flashover performance, while tank types boast excellent sealing, high SF₆ insulation strength, and superior resistance to external interference.
