The 6kV 6.3kV 15.6kV 17.5kV solid-insulated ring main unit is a new type of power distribution equipment that integrates three technologies: external solid sealing, insulated busbar and miniaturization of combined units. The switch and high-voltage live parts are integrally cast with epoxy resin, and the epoxy resin solid sealing is used as the insulation between the live parts to the ground and between phases.
This product does not emit any toxic substances, has no hidden dangers of gas leakage, explosion and internal arc, and features high insulation performance, environmental protection, flexibility and convenience, as well as resistance to harsh environments.

Main Features

• Realizing full insulation：The solid-insulated ring main unit uses insulating sleeves to solidify the switch components, connects each circuit with closed busbars, and realizes full sealing and full insulation as a whole.

• Intelligent upgrade：At present, many gas-filled SF6 ring main units cannot meet the needs of distribution network automation transformation. The solid-insulated ring main unit is highly intelligent. On site, PT power supply can be connected according to user needs. The cable joints can realize online monitoring, provide users with on-site temperature values, and at the same time, the data can reach the control terminal, which strengthens operation and maintenance and solves many practical problems for users.

•  Eliminating SF6 pollution:The solid-insulated ring main unit is completely unrelated to sulfur hexafluoride gas in terms of principle and manufacturing, providing a basic guarantee for emission reduction and environmental protection in the field of distribution network equipment.

• Flexibility and convenience:The solid-insulated ring main unit has an assembled structure with strong flexibility. If there is a problem with the gas-filled ring main unit, the circuit change plan can be designed in time, and the circuit can be replaced on the spot, which provides great convenience and flexibility for users' use and reduces customers' operation and maintenance costs.

•  Resistance to harsh environments:Compared with SF6 ring main units, solid-insulated ring main units have outstanding ability to resist harsh environments. Since they do not use SF6 gas and have a fully enclosed structure, they have obvious adaptability advantages in harsh environments such as severe cold, plateau, humidity and strong sandstorms.
