Overview

1.Iron Core

The iron core is made of cold rolled, granular-oriented, low-loss and high magnetic conductive silicon steel, which is of multi-step completely tilted structure to reduce the loss and noise.

Iron core with fixed clamps optimizes the design so as to ensure mechanical strength and to reduce leakage losses.

Adoption of PET banding structure ensures the clamp force of core column and lowers the noise.

2.Winding

Using cylinder type, foil type, screw type, continuous type and interleaved type to ensure uniform voltage distribution.

Adopting oil-oriented architecture in the winding to reduce temperature rise. To set up separate tap winding in large capacity transformers to eliminate damage when short circuit occurs.

3. Active-parts

Cold pressing ensures cleanness of the body active parts and the reliability of leads. Adoption of whole assembled phase insulation so as to reduce the assembly and effective guarantee the dimension and shape of the insulation structure.

4.Oil Tank

The oil tank of 35kV transformer adopts barrel type or bell type structure and use finned radiator. It usually don't have trolley while allocating standard base for installation. To kink the tank wall as one-stop forming to avoid weld seam.

The oil tank of 10kV transformer adopts L-bar type and use corrugated radiator. It use water proof test, air leakage test and oil leakage test to guarantee leakage free. The surface coating is strictly controlled.

Power System Voltage Level Classification
Power System Voltage Level Classification
What Is a Voltage Class?Definition of Voltage Class:Voltage classes (or voltage levels) refer to a set of standardized rated voltages used in power systems and electrical equipment. A rated voltage is the nominal voltage at which equipment is designed to operate under normal conditions; essentially, a voltage class defines the intended working voltage range for a system or device.Analogy to Consumer Appliances:Household appliances (e.g., refrigerators, TVs) operate at a nominal voltage—typ

What is the reason for conducting five impulse tests before commissioning a transformer?
Verification of Insulation IntegrityWhen a new or overhauled transformer is energized under open-circuit (no-load) conditions, switching surges—caused by operations such as opening or closing the no-load transformer circuit—can generate overvoltages. These reach 4.0–4.5 times the phase voltage if the neutral point is isolated or earthed through a Petersen coil, and up to 3.0 times the phase voltage when the neutral is solidly grounded. The full-voltage, no-load impact test deli

Analysis of the Causes of Large - scale Failures of Surge Arresters in 10 kV Distribution Lines
Analysis of the Causes of Large - scale Failures of Surge Arresters in 10 kV Distribution Lines
1. IntroductionDuring power system operation, main equipment faces threats from internal and atmospheric overvoltages. Surge arresters, especially metal oxide arresters (MOAs) with excellent nonlinear volt - ampere characteristics, are key for protection due to their good performance, large current - carrying capacity, and strong pollution resistance. However, long - term exposure to power frequency voltages, along with component quality, manufacturing processes, and external environments, makes
