The project adopted the IPD (Integrated Product Development) R&D model. Coordinated by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Guangdong Power Grid Company, China High-Voltage AC Current Limiter Manufacturer, and its affiliated enterprises, the management structure featured layered oversight, a dedicated project supervision team, and specialized task forces with clear objectives and assigned responsibilities. The effectiveness and planning discipline of project management were especially evident during manufacturing. Thanks to comprehensive efforts in early-stage innovative R&D, collaborative development, and system-level R&D, the engineering design, reliability validation of manufacturing processes, production and inspection of first-batch components, installation/maintenance procedures, and full-system commissioning of the pilot demonstration unit were all completed in less than four months—demonstrating remarkable “Chinese speed.”

The successful completion of this project is a concrete action by China High-Voltage AC Current Limiter Manufacturer to implement the national directive to “accelerate the establishment of original technology sources and become a modern industrial chain leader.” It also represents another practical step in executing the Group’s “core business focus with related diversification” development strategy.
