Na iko da aikace-aikacen da ya kula da slip ta motoci AC induction, wanda yana cikin farkon koɗi na stator magnetic field da rotor speed. Slip yana daya daga cikin manyan abubuwa masu muhimmanci wadanda suka taimaka wa ƙarfafar jirgin ruwa, inganci, da kuma matsayin shirya.

Misalai Aikace-aikacen

Misali 1:
Motoci da 4-pole, 50 Hz, rotor speed = 2850 RPM →
N_s = (120 × 50) / 2 = 3000 RPM
Slip = (3000 - 2850) / 3000 × 100% = 5%

Misali 2:
Slip = 4%, N_s = 3000 RPM →
N_r = 3000 × (1 - 0.04) = 2880 RPM

Misali 3:
Motoci da 6-pole (P=3), 60 Hz, slip = 5% →
N_s = (120 × 60) / 3 = 2400 RPM
N_r = 2400 × (1 - 0.05) = 2280 RPM
