RCS-1 Outdoor Capacitor Vacuum Switch is designed for reliable switching of capacitor banks in substations, with vacuum arc-extinguishing technology and high performance for 15/27kV applications.

RCS-1 is single-phase outdoor pole-mounted vacuum capacitor switch complying with IEC 62271-1, IEC 62271-106 and IEEE C37.66 with KEMA type test. Rated voltage covers 11kV~38kV, rated current up to 1250A, with C2 capacitive switching class. It adopts vacuum interrupter and magnetic actuator, IP65 stainless steel tank. It is dedicated for switching single-phase shunt capacitor banks for reactive power compensation on overhead distribution and renewable energy feeders.
