Product Detail

Description :

RWS-6800 soft starter/cabinet adopts a new generation of soft starter technology, and adaptive control realizes the control of the motor acceleration curve and deceleration curve to an unprecedented level. The soft starter reads the data of the motor in the process of starting and stopping, and then adjusts to achieve the best effect. Just select the curve most suitable for your load type, and the soft starter will automatically ensure that the load is accelerated in the most stable way possible.

Main function introduction:

  • Open-phase protection

  • Multiple startup modes

  • Under-voltage and over-voltage protection

  • Reducing Starting Current and Mechanical Impact

  • Multi-Protection and Energy Efficiency Optimization

Q:What is the difference between VFD and soft starter?

A:Function: VFD can adjust the speed, starting and braking of the motor by changing the frequency and voltage of the power supply. The soft starter is mainly used for the smooth starting of the motor to reduce the impact of the starting current, and it does not involve speed regulation.
Application scenarios: VFD is suitable for occasions where speed control is required, such as industrial production lines, air - conditioning systems, etc. The soft starter is suitable for equipment that only needs smooth starting and has no special requirements for speed, such as large - scale water pumps and air compressors.
Energy - saving effect: VFD saves energy through precise speed regulation with remarkable results. The energy - saving of the soft starter is reflected in reducing the energy consumption during starting, and the overall energy - saving level is lower than that of VFD.

Q:How does a soft start motor starter work?

A:The soft - start motor starter is based on power electronics technology and often uses a thyristor voltage - regulating circuit to work. During startup, it gradually increases the conduction angle of the thyristor according to the set curves (such as linear rise, ramp rise, constant current, etc.), so that the voltage applied to the motor gradually increases, and the motor speed rises smoothly. When the motor speed approaches the rated speed, the rated voltage is output, and the thyristor is fully conducting. In some cases, a bypass contactor is used to short - circuit the soft - starter. During shutdown, the voltage can also be decreased according to the curve, allowing the motor to decelerate smoothly.

What is the difference between a dielectric and an insulator?
What is the difference between a dielectric and an insulator?
Dielectrics and insulators are distinguished primarily by their applications. One of the main differences is that a dielectric can store electrical energy by becoming polarized in an electric field, whereas an insulator resists the flow of electrons to prevent current conduction. Other key differences between them are outlined in the comparison chart below.Definition of DielectricA dielectric material is a type of insulator that contains few or no free electrons. When subjected to an electric fi

Fault Analysis and Treatment of Oil-Immersed Transformers
Oil Leakage at Welded JointsOil leakage at welded joints primarily stems from poor welding quality, such as incomplete or detached welds, and defects like pinholes and gas pores. Although oil-immersed transformers are initially coated with solder and paint during manufacturing, potentially masking these issues temporarily, the defects tend to surface during operation. Additionally, electromagnetic vibration can cause weld cracks, leading to oil leakage. To resolve such leaks, the first critical s

What losses occur during operation of the transformer? How to reduce losses?
Transformers experience various types of losses during operation, primarily categorized into two main types: copper losses and iron losses.Copper LossesCopper losses, also known as I²R losses, are caused by the electrical resistance of the transformer windings—typically made of copper. As current flows through the windings, energy is dissipated in the form of heat. These losses are proportional to the square of the load current (I²R), meaning they increase significantly with high
