Product Detail

Product Overview

JDZX18-12R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor switch cabinet to measure the current, electric energy and protective relaying in single phase or three phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipment 17.5/24 kV.

The iron core adopts advanced cold-rolled silicon steel sheet. High voltage outgoing line of primary winding was fetched out from top of the product; outgoing line of secondary winding was fetched out from transverse side of the product.

Key Features

  •  Epoxy Resin Fully Enclosed Cast Insulation:Utilizing advanced vacuum epoxy resin casting technology, it creates a fully sealed insulation system with an IP65 protection rating. This structure not only boasts excellent electrical insulation properties to withstand high-voltage surges, ensuring stable operation under normal and transient overvoltage conditions, but also effectively resists dust, moisture, and salt fog. It operates reliably in humid coastal areas with high salinity or dusty industrial environments, eliminating the need for frequent maintenance. This maintenance-free design significantly reduces operational costs, minimizes downtime for servicing, and enhances the overall efficiency of power systems.
  • Wide Temperature Range Stability:With an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, it ensures consistent performance in extreme climates. High-quality temperature-resistant insulation materials maintain optimal electrical properties in both frigid and scorching conditions, preventing insulation aging caused by temperature fluctuations and ensuring long-term stability. Extensive field testing and practical applications confirm a service life exceeding 30 years, reducing equipment replacement frequency and long-term costs while providing reliable, durable support for power system infrastructure.
  • Anti-Fouling Flashover & High Insulation Design:Featuring an external insulation creepage distance ≥31mm/kV and equipped with anti-fouling flashover skirts and hydrophobic coatings, it is specifically designed for Class III pollution areas. These features significantly reduce the risk of flashover caused by contaminant accumulation and moisture. Insulation performance tests demonstrate partial discharge ≤5pC and compliance with 12kV/42kV/75kV power frequency/impulse withstand voltage tests, ensuring comprehensive insulation reliability and safe operation under complex conditions.

Main technical parameter

  • Rated primary voltage: 20/√3 or 15/√3 etc.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

What are the monitoring methods and future development trends of low-voltage voltage transformers?
With the continuous advancement of smart grid technology, intelligent monitoring systems are playing an increasingly important role in preventing and addressing faults in voltage transformers. These modern intelligent monitoring systems can collect key parameters from voltage transformers in real time—such as partial discharge levels, temperature, and oil quality—and use data analysis algorithms to assess the health status of the equipment, enabling early fault warnings and precise l

1. Selection of Low - Voltage Current Transformer ConfigurationThere are many factors leading to wrong selection of low - voltage current transformers in civil construction projects. For example, common factors include design problems: the calculated coefficient designed for the load of electrical equipment is relatively large, or the transformation ratio of the current transformer is selected incorrectly. Such a series of reasons will affect the use of electrical equipment. Therefore, in the co

To ensure safe operation of the power system, power equipment operation must be monitored/measured. General devices can’t connect to primary high - voltage equipment directly; instead, large primary currents are scaled down for current transformation, electrical isolation, and use by measurement/protection devices. For AC large - current measurement, conversion to a unified current eases secondary instrument use.Current transformers split into measurement - and protection - type, with accu

1. Overview of Components and IssuesTA (low-voltage current transformer) and electric energy meters are key components of low-voltage electric energy metering. The load current of such meters is no less than 60A. Electric energy meters vary in type, model, and anti-DC performance, and are connected in series in the metering device. Due to the lack of anti-DC capability, they suffer from metering errors under DC component loads, usually caused by non-linear loads. With the increasing use of DC or
