The XGN15-12 is a 12kV-class SF₆-insulated ring main unit (RMU) designed for secondary distribution networks. Sealed stainless steel enclosure with SF₆ gas insulation protects against moisture, pollution, corrosive atmospheres, and dust. Rated at 630A with a short-circuit making capacity of 50kA, it supports ring main and radial configurations for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.
The unit is equipped with SF₆ switch-disconnectors or switch-fuse combinations, capable of making and breaking rated load current, making rated short-circuit current, and interrupting transformer no-load current. When combined with a fuse, the unit can interrupt 31.5kA short-circuit current, providing full system control and protection.
