The RCS Series Single-Phase Outdoor Capacitor Switch is a new-generation vacuum switch designed for long mechanical life, primarily used for switching single-phase capacitor banks in distribution networks. With advanced insulation technology and a compact, lightweight design, it supports maintenance-free operation (mechanical life up to 100,000 operations).
Complying with multiple international standards, it ensures reliable performance in harsh outdoor environments, helping users reduce maintenance costs and improve power supply reliability.
The core structure of the RCS series outdoor capacitor switch consists of a vacuum interrupter, drive mechanism, incoming/outgoing terminals, insulation and protection components, and an optional intelligent controller:

The RCS series is rated for ambient temperatures from –40 °C to +85 °C (max daily temperature difference 25 °C), altitudes ≤1000 m, wind speeds ≤35 m/s, and pollution Class IV (acid/alkali/salt‑fog medium). Standard IP64‑rated joints and silicone‑rubber coating ensure reliable performance in harsh outdoor conditions.
The series complies with IEEE C37.66, IEC 62271‑100, and GB1984‑2024. Products have passed rigorous testing for high humidity, high pollution, and harsh climate conditions, which helps meet utility specifications and reduces the risk of non‑compliance or premature failure.
